Car History:

I originally flew from Iowa to Boston, MA, bought the car
and drove it back. I was the 3rd owner of the car with just under 33k on
odometer. The person I bought the car from sold the original seats and installed
Corbeau A4s. I ended up selling the car with just under 39k miles, as I thought
it was the right thing to do at the time for myself and my wife. The person I
sold the car to installed black leather GT seats that are in good condition. He
ended up putting the car back up for sale with about 47k on it. The wife really
missed the car and so did I, so we bought it back from him. About 6 months later
I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease that is still attacking my
muscles.

Between my diagnosis and having a 6 month old now, I’m looking
to sell the car to take care of bills and my family before having my fun. I’m pretty sure there
is a very slight exhaust leak that I’m unable to pin point due to lack of time.
I have a set of Ford Racing header gaskets just in case that’s where the leak is
coming from. The car has been garage kept and parked during the winter time. The hood has the know paint defect (paint chips off easily due to lack of adhesion when Ford painted the fiberglass hoods). I only took the car once to the dragstrip to and made 4 passses against my brother. I enjoy my vehicles and I take pride in taking care of my vehicles. The bank has the title to the car and they are aware that I am selling the vehicle to make the transaction smooth. The car is located in Cedar Rapids, IA.

66 mustang 6 cylinder 3speed stick, could be parts or project car, yard drives and stops, new brakes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump. Floors, shock towers,torque boxes good. fenders, doors, rear quarters need work as shown in pictures. Interior needs complete restoration, no rear seat, dash pad warped and cracked. Motor runs and starts easily, transmission works well, 1st and reverse fine shifter needs work to get into 2nd and 3rd. Weather strip rough, windshield beginning to fog at edges, other glass ok rear of trunk lid rusty. This description is the best to my ability that I can give, please look at the pictures. No warranty and there is no title for this car, will be sold with notarized bill of sell. Payment Types

Payment for the vehicle may be made by institutional financing, either prepared by Champion Ford Katy or prepared by the buyer through their own personal lender, or cash via certified funds/cashier’s check.   Note: Personal and Cashier’s Checks, and Money Orders may require 14 days to clear before vehicle is released to buyer.  In some cases, financing with Ford Credit may be required to qualify for Buy It Now price (new vehicles only).

Taxes and Fees

If you are a Texas resident, you must pay 6.25% sales tax on transactions. Out of state buyers are not charged sales tax unless required to do so by the lender. Customers are responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state. In compliance with policies designed to protect your identity and reduce fraud, all transactions completed away from the dealership site require notarized signatures.

The customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state and paying all applicable fees and taxes.

In addition to any required tax, title, and license fees, all buyers pay a $122.50 Documentary fee, a Vehicle Inventory Tax (VIT) of 0.216% (approximately $22.00 per $10,000), and $23.75 state inspection.  For vehicles being registered outside of Texas, an additional fee of $130 may apply.  Please call with any questions.

Deposit

An immediate REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 is required within 24 hours of winning the auction. Buyers must be willing and able to complete transaction within 5 calendar days of winning the auction. If no contact is made within 18 hours, AutoNation Ford Katy reserves the right to relist the vehicle for sale.  

Buyer Pickup

The buyer is responsible for the pick up or shipping of a vehicle. As a courtesy to our customers, we will provide pick up at local airports Bush Intercontinental (IAH) or Hobby Airport (HOU)) during normal business hours.  AutoNation Ford Katy can help arrange shipping at buyer’s cost if so desired. Car will NOT PASS in a county/state where SMOG or EMISSIONS testing is required, due to the STEEDA aftermarket parts. Nothing is wrong with them, it just wont pass the required fuel/smog section, but ALL other sections pass!

1998 convertable two door alarm system ac all the extras well maintained low miles

You are bidding on a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 428 Cobra Jet Ram Air R – Code California car.

The 428 cubic inch motor is controlled by a C6 transmission and a 350:1 limited slip posi rear end. Entire car was restored 13 years ago. Very low miles (approximately only 2,000 miles put on since car was restored). The last time the car was plated before the restore was 1979! The mustang was about 95% solid when it was purchased, and today it is still 100% solid. The car was striped down to the frame and media blasted and DP40 epoxy coated. The floors, doors, hood, fenders, roof, trunk, and quarters are all original, except the lower rear panels behind rear tires. They were replaced during restoration and are spotless. The car has no rust issues, very solid car (see pics). The interior has new head liner, seat covers, and carpet. The rest of the interior is in great shape. Car runs well. It has lots of money tied up in the motor. No stone left unturned with this ride.

We have been getting trophies at just about every car show since restored, even with chip (see pic) and very mild blemish. Got a quote to fix to make like new is $2,000, which I’m deducting off of the price. The color of the car is now Acapulco Blue. Lots and Lots of compliments all the time on the paint job! This car is 1 of 1 made. See Marti Report in pics. Motor, trans, intake and exhaust manifold #’s look correct. 750 Holley carburetor on the vehicle now, but I do have the original. Also, there is a small trans leak coming from the rear seal, haven’t had time to replace the seal.
