Up for sale is a 2002 Ford Mustang Gt. It has 129,000 miles on it and is currently my daily driver. The motor was replaced at 109,000 miles with a motor from an 04 Gt with 70,000 miles on it. It is a 5 speed and is a very fun car. It has a few bolt on mods such as : BBK cold air intake, 1/2 inch intake spacer, pypes off road x-pipe, one chamber flowmasters, mil eliminators, lowered 2 inches, trick flow upper intake plenum. The new engine has all new gaskets and sparkplugs. The car is True Blue with black and grey cloth interior. There are a few chips on the front bumper but nothing major. Im sure im forgetting something so feel free to email me on here with questions. The cobra wheels do not come with the car, it will come with V6 mustang wheels. The ABS light is on but not sure why.We replaced the rear clipers and pads and cleaned the sensors but the light refuses to go out.The car drives and stops fine.

The convertible top is original and still in good shape,The original Saleen mats,Pedals and Fiberglass Speedster cover is also in great shape.***NOTE**There is some minor wear on the drivers seat boulster but NO tears.See Photos.The leather steering wheel cover is worn as normal at the top 1:00 position.There is a very slight 1/4 inch tear on the Roll bar covering from where the speedster top contacts it,on the driverside.It is very minor.

The car was DYNO’d at 456rwhp/488t this was before some of the new mods/additions.It should be a little higher now.The car has not been abused and has not been raced.Everything that has been done was just for the fun of it.I love the car but I am needing a truck more.I will consider a partial trade on this car.I am looking for a Nice 03-05 Hemi Dodge Ram 1/2 ton quad cab Pick up.

We appreciate your time very much. This awesome Mustang is being listed for my friend who also has this little beauty listed for sale here in Las Vegas and we reserve the right to end this auction early if he should sell it locally before this auction ends. Thanks for your understanding on that.  

My good friend Robert helped purchased this car for his son about a month ago, but then his son decided he didn’t want to take this hot little ride down to Mexico where he is currently living the good life as a professional poker player laying around on the beach, playing on line poker and checking out the hot seniorita’s. What a life!! True story btw..  He just really didn’t want such a nice car down there, can’t blame him for that.

Anyway, let’s get to the car instead of the pretty little seniorita’s. Here we have a great driving, Tan on Black GT Mustang Convertible “Custom” with a very low opening bid, a very low reserve, and a very reasonable “Buy It Now” price for an awesome sounding & great handling ride that shows a Kelly Blue Book for somewhere between $9,215 great condition, and a mint condition value of $9,540. Low miles too, at just over 74,000. Of course that Kelley BB would be for a completely stock vehicle, and this one does have a few performance upgrades that was done by previous owner, so please factor that in to your value considerations for this vehicle.

All features and creature comforts work as they should. The windows have been nicely lightly tinted, not too dark, with a glare strip on the top of the windshield. It has been equipped with an aftermarket cold air intake system from Flowmaster which gives the exhaust a great sound. That also has a washable filter. Rear end has very nice custom tail – brake lights at a couple hundred each, and an upgraded Kenwood Stereo sound system that sounds great. It drive’s straight as an arrow!! Let the wheel go, and it will hold a straight and true line even at highway speeds, and doesn’t pull to either side. Handles awesome & shifts very smoothly & you can really feel the road quite nicely in this baby! Needs a couple of new shocks to help hold up the trunk lid up better as they feel a little weak but that’s about the only mechanical defect I could find on this car. The tan soft top goes up and down perfectly and is equipped with real glass in the back window, and not just cheap plastic or plexiglass that I have seen on some of these cars.

It has recently passed smog here because they were going to register it until his son changed his mind. That’s good for 90 days here in Nevada, not sure if you can use it if you’re from out of our state. Very comfortable leather seating with for and aft electric controls on driver seat with rear back bolster. Seats do show some minimal wear with some small cracking as seen in pictures, more so on driver’s seat of course, but they are not torn at all. Very clean interior, no cracks on dash or door panels and still looks really new when you’re sitting in it. This car has been well taken care of and looks great.. I personally don’t believe this car was ever abused, and it probably has a lot of the low miles it does have as highway miles. Some evidence of that can be seen with some paint chipping on front bumper and some dulling on the headlight lenses, shown in photographs. It has a few normal small dings and small scratches but for sure doesn’t need any major body work to make it look good by any means. It looks really awesome for a ten year old car that has been in the desert. The worst cosmetic defect would be in the right rear wheel well when the former owner had a blow out and the seperating tire tread scratched up that area a bit. Also does have one minor tiny dent in left rear taillight area that is a little noticeable if you’re really looking for defects, some scuffing there on the lower left rear bumper area. There is some white oxidation on the hood that the current owner has been buffing out and much of it is coming out.

I am selling my project 2002 Mustang GT. This car has been sitting for about a year after the shop performing most of the work went out of business. Life took me other directions and I’ve had no time to finish the fine tuning to get it running properly, nor do I have much interest to do this at this point in my life.
This is to be considered a near-completion project car. It will need to be thoroughly inspected and repairs and tuning be made. The issues I know of so far: suspension needs alignment, inspect ignition coils, inspect charging system, inspect slight oil burn suspect turbo seals (turbo kit is brand new), re-tune for performance / boost level desired.

I had this car initially supercharged for about 2 years until I damaged the original engine. I decided to have a fully forged engine built to protect from future problems but I could not afford to turbo-charge at the time. I drove the car daily for a year on the new engine until purchasing a new car and putting this one in the shop for the “big project.” I purchased the On3Performance 70mm single turbo kit and had it installed with many of the parts replaced with higher quality ones. Besides that, there was a huge amount of work done to the car as outlined below.

I am selling this car for peanuts because of other problems. I am asking about what I spent on labor alone for engine, turbo kit and suspension install alone.
