1983 ford mustang runs good and is fast
I have owned it for 3 years and never had a reliability problem. It Has
a MSD ignition, Elderbrock carb and Intake plenum, a super nice cam
in it, high flow fuel pump, and decent paint. Car runs and drives
nice, I was restoring it but have totaled my daily driver so now I
need money. Was a racer before I bought it and was stripped down to
race but was never taken to the track. I bought it and installed
a radio hooked and hooked up the headlights and taillights but there are some
weird electrical going on with accessories like windows and interior lights. This car has not been inspected in Texas since 2009 and
does not have a horn so until that is installed it will not pass
inspection. Top was replaced about 3 years ago but needs new lines.
The top still goes up and down you just have to do it manually.
Reverse syncro is going bad and jumps out of reverse when backing up
sometimes but all forward gears in the transmission are good this
problem has been since I have owned it and has not gotten worse so I
have let it be. It was painted a short time ago and the paint is good
at 10 feet. The body does have a few dents and dings but nothing to
bad better then a macco job but not as nice as factory. It does have
a set of aftermarket rims but not sure what kind I did just put brand
new tires on and the have less then 100mi on them. Interior needs
work. I have installed aftermarket guages in a pod but have not
hooked them up yet.

I am going to list the bad even though
I said it in the paragraph above so you know what to expect:

Paint Is new but the body work is to be
desired.

Rear syncro makes reverse pop out but
has not gotten worse in the 3 years since I have owned it.

Weird electrical- only high beams which
is not to bad since it equals about the same intensity of a new car
low beams, tail light stay on sometimes when not hitting the brakes,
passenger window works some times and not others.

Interior needs work.

Guages in pod need to be hooked up

I have a ton of extra parts and all
parts that have came off of the car go with it. This car can be
driven every day but I would recommend it for someone wanting a fixer
upper. I am just trying to sell it and be honest with the person
buying it. I have taken this car to san antonio many times and thats a 6 hour round trip.

I am intrested in some things like a quad cab ford truck 93 or newer but send me messages what you have!
