One of a kind 1966 Mustang Shelby Tribute built by Bill Carnes of M1Stang, based out of their factory in St. Augustine, Florida.  Built with trademark approval from Ford Motor Company this resto-mod M1Stang was featured in a number of car magazines and draws attention where ever it goes.  This may look like a 1966 Mustang convertible but don’t let these classic looks fool you. Underneath this all metal Mustang body sits a 1994 Mazda Miata chassis and drivetrain capable of the performance you would expect out of a V8 car. The exterior is coated in Wimbelton White with Viper Blue Shelby stripes buried under 6 coats of clear providing for a glossy finish that will stand the test of time.  The convertible soft top is a brand new and black in color matching the black cloth Miata interior that is filled with modern technology.  Comfort features such as air conditioning, a 6 disc CD changer with AM/Fm radio, power steering, a four speed automatic transmission, and power door locks with electronic release all help make this Mustang a different breed than the original.  However it doesn’t stop there. The M1Satng is also equipped with improved handling and safety equipment such as four-way independent suspension, four wheel power anti-lock disc brakes,  performance driven rack and pinion steering, polished stainless steel roll bar, and newer styled performance wheels and tires.  This Mustang is perfect for either highway or city driving and you can rest assured it won’t leave you stranded. 

Over $27,000 was spent building this unique car and it has been meticulously cared for and maintained since it was purchased from M1 Stang in 2007. Built from brand new steel body panels no Mustangs were “chopped-up” or destroyed to make this amazing kit car. The Miatas outside body panels are removed and the new steel panels are shortened and welded or bolted to the chassis. Rust free and displaying brilliant chrome bumpers this M1Stang was garage kept and female owned.  The perfect car for stylish summer fun!

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $1,000.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within three (3) days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.  Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.

Buyers are responsible for pickup or shipping of their vehicles. If a buyer wishes to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. To locate shippers, you may search on Google for `auto shippers`. We do collect sales tax from all California buyers. Out of state buyers are responsible themselves for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title/registration fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.

Although we do our best to describe the vehicles, these are previously owned vehicles and there is a slight possibility that we might overlook some minor appearance details. We do our best to list any major defects in appearance or running condition. If possible, we recommend you stop by to take a look at the vehicle before you make your final bid. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to become satisfied with the condition and value in order to bid based on that judgment. If you are not sure about something, please contact us! Do not assume anything not listed is included.

We are a fully bonded, licensed and insured dealership. If a prior sale is completed we reserve the right to cancel or end the auction early. All bids are a legal binding contract. the auction. Streetside Classic Cars reserves the right to end its
auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall

3. The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classic Cars

details of the transaction.

4. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required within 48 hours of
